In-app notifications

While you have Trackli open, some things show up as a card in the corner of the screen. They stay there until you deal with them, so you won't miss one because you looked away.

What shows up

• Task reminders. When a reminder goes off, you get a card like Reminder: Chase Corvel for DPA comments, with when it's due underneath. This includes reminders you added yourself and default reminders. See Task reminders.
• Blocked tasks that came back. If you marked a task blocked until a date, a card with an unlock icon tells you when it's back, with what you were waiting on (ex: UAT2 exit report is back. You were waiting on KAN-3 fix). See Blocked tasks and Move to tomorrow.

If Trackli wasn't open when something came in, you'll see the card the next time you open it.

Open or dismiss a card

• Press Open task to go straight to the task. The card closes.
• Press the cross on a card to dismiss it.
• When there are several, Dismiss all clears them in one go.

Other notices you may see

• Update available. A new version of Trackli is ready. Press Refresh now to switch to it, or Later to carry on. See Troubleshooting.
• You're offline. A banner across the top of the screen while you have no internet connection. See Offline and on your phone.
• Short confirmations and errors, for example after you save or delete something. These go away on their own.

Tips

• Not getting reminder cards? Check that Email or Slack is on under Daily Digest in Settings, then Notifications. With both off, reminders aren't sent at all, including the card.
• If you'd rather get a summary than individual cards, the daily digest lists everything due in one message.
