Troubleshooting
Most problems in Trackli have a quick fix. Start with the one that matches what you're seeing. If none of them help, get in touch from the Support page and tell us what happened.
"Update available"
When there's a new version of Trackli, a card says Update available.
- Press Refresh now to switch to the new version straight away. Save anything you're in the middle of first.
- Press Later to carry on. Trackli won't reload while you're working. The update is picked up the next time you open Trackli, or quietly while it's in the background with nothing unsaved.
The installed app isn't updating
If you've installed Trackli as an app (in the Dock, on your taskbar or on your home screen), a normal refresh doesn't switch it to a new version. Quit the app fully and open it again.
- Mac: press
Cmd+Qwith Trackli in front, then reopen it. - Windows: close every Trackli window, then reopen it.
- Phone: close Trackli from your app switcher, then open it again.
Something looks wrong or out of date
If a screen looks broken, or you can see old data that should have changed, clear Trackli's cache:
- Open your account menu and choose Settings, then Support.
- Under Troubleshooting, next to Clear cache & reload, press Clear & Reload.
Trackli reloads with a clean copy. Your tasks are safe, as they're stored in your account, not in the browser. The App version is shown underneath, which is useful if you contact us.
On Windows, if an installed app still misbehaves after that, uninstall it, clear the site data for gettrackli.com in your browser, and install it again.
"Session expired"
Trackli renews your sign-in in the background. If it can't (ex: you signed out of all devices from another computer), you'll see Please sign in again. Press Sign in again and you'll be back where you were once you've signed in.
Calendar events aren't showing
- Check you're in the Calendar view, on the right day or week.
- Open Settings, then Integrations, and check your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar still shows as connected, with the calendars you want switched on under Show in Trackli.
- Check Show free events on the calendar's card (and Show tentative events for Outlook). When they're off, those events are hidden.
- If your calendar connection has stopped working (ex: after you change your Google or Microsoft password), the Calendar shows a message with a Reconnect button, and the calendar's card in Settings, then Integrations, says it stopped working. Press Reconnect and sign in again. Your settings stay as they were.
- Still nothing? Disconnect the calendar and connect it again.
A task I added isn't there
- Check the filters. A project picked in the sidebar, a quick filter like Due Today, or Hide Done column on board can all hide tasks.
- Search for it with
/. - If you were offline when you added it, it may not have saved. See Offline and on your phone.
