Is there a desktop app?

Yes, on a Mac. Get it from the download page. A Windows version is coming to the Microsoft Store. Until then, on Windows you can install Trackli from your browser so it opens like an app.

What it adds

  • Add a task from anywhere. Press Ctrl+Option+T and a small box opens on top of whatever you're doing. Type the task and press Enter.
  • Trackli in the menu bar, one click away.
  • The full Trackli in its own window, the same as in your browser.

The shortcut works while Trackli is running. Closing the window keeps it running in the menu bar. If you choose Quit Trackli, the shortcut stops until you open Trackli again. Trackli opens when you log in to your Mac, so it's ready after a restart.

Installing it

  1. Open Trackli.dmg from your Downloads folder.
  2. Drag Trackli into Applications.
  3. Open Trackli from Applications and sign in.

The first time you open it, your Mac asks if you're sure you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. That's normal for any app that doesn't come from the App Store. Choose Open. It only asks once.

After installing, you can eject the Trackli disk in Finder's sidebar and delete Trackli.dmg.

There's more in the Trackli desktop app guide.
