Export your tasks
You can download your tasks as a CSV file, which opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. The export lives in the All Tasks view.
Export to CSV
On a computer:
- Go to All Tasks.
- Filter or search first if you only want some tasks (ex: just the Vendor onboarding project).
- Press Export in the toolbar.
On a phone:
- Go to All Tasks.
- Tap the ... button next to the task count.
- Tap Export CSV.
The file downloads straight away, named with today's date (ex: trackli-tasks-2026-11-02.csv).
What's in the file
One row per task, in the order the table shows them, with these columns: ID, Title, Subtask of, Project, Status, Priority, Due Date, Start Date, Assignee, Customer, Effort, Tag(s), Time Estimate and Description.
The export follows what's on screen. If you've filtered by project, searched, or hidden done tasks, only the tasks you can see are exported. To export everything, clear your filters first. Archived tasks are only included if you've ticked Show Archived (on a phone, Show archived in the ... menu).
Descriptions come out as plain text, without formatting.
What isn't included
Trackli doesn't have a full account export today. The CSV from All Tasks is the only export, so these aren't in it:
- Notes, comments and Activity
- Attachments
- Reminders and recurring settings
- Projects, tags and customers as separate lists (they appear only as columns on each task)
- Your settings
If you need a copy of something that isn't in the CSV, get in touch from the Support page.
Tips
- Trackli can also import a CSV file. It picks up columns like Title, Status, Project, Priority, Due Date and Description. See Import from other apps.
